May this journey be one of good connection to the flow of life pulsing throughout the season into the joy of truth. No matter how dark it is that inner light/power within this unknown is the goddess...and we will continue on with her there in our lives.

How does one explain the Goddess? As I've given myself to her as her priestess there is no doubt of who she is to me. To explain her to anyone is like a riddle and words are limitations. She can be described in poetry and songs but her meaning still is a puzzle even through these examples. And most of all she is the hardest to ever be discovered by a man or one who has the constructs of the patriarchy derived from the ancient masculine world. So what do we describe one with such a composite?
When we live in such a society and these ideals are what have been projected in our minds and hearts it is very hard to see something different. I've seen very much in the so called 'spiritual new age' establishments of what I felt were good become so tarnished with the above principles that there is absolutely no sign of the Divine Goddess anywhere in these practices. Today's women in fighting for rights have had to put on armour to deal with the battlefield in the world we live today that their hardened attitude has change even the energy of woman. Many spiritual indigenous women and men have been in the background but they have been holding the Goddess in their lives and their hearts for centuries. Children before they change and accept the glitter and sparkle of the illusionary world also hold her dear to their sweet hearts. The Goddess lives in every spark of life. She lives in every kiss of innocence, and sweet laughter that lightens the air. She is the sudden flutter of anticipation felt like a butterfly that brings the heart and gut together to experience magic. She is the glance that is instantaneous. She is the effortless flow. The Tao. She is the passion that is not made of fire but of the warmth of the heart and the ignition of the mind filled with inspiration. She is complete beauty even in the darkest of suffering within its cognitive understanding of the Why. She is love and the joy of the body and its transformation into the gift of love beyond itself. She is living infinitesimal joy of giving and sharing so that others can benefit in multiplicity. She is the keeper of the earth and the wisdom of the stars. She is living, breathing, practicing grounded spiritual principles. She does not ask to give up anything but to come to her once you see her, and are touched by her. She is the Pandora's box for once opened can never be shut. Her wisdom is that of Socrates's cave, it is something that will change you forever. The quest of the grail that all the knights were looking for was a treasure. It was not a treasure they had fashioned in their minds and not a kingdom of their imaginations but a treasure of the kingdom in life. She is the mistress of the mystery. You do not tease her or play with her for she is a powerful entity. If sincere she will take you in her wings and nurture you gently and patiently. She is nature, it can not be rushed and neither can she. If altered there are dire consequences as we are now experiencing on our planet. In myth she is represented as the princess always needing the true one to rescue and champion her. The male focused energy represented by the prince is the quality we all must have in order to have her in our lives. As the knightly prince we must be called. It never works when we are desirous for the wanting. She actually separates the men from the boys. There is a conviction within that will never cease and it will muster all the strength and purpose to fulfill the call no matter what. Once on the journey towards her, life is never the same and it will continue to change. For no thing is constant in the world no knowledge is absolute, for there are more insights and discoveries that will adjust knowledge. She is the only truth. She is the love that calls us from our slumbers to awaken that unconscious one asleep within and to look within the shadows of our world to find what we've discarded and let fall far away along time ago. When she has called you it is like the dark night of the soul. All that you have cherished in your life has no meaning and is but of dust. When you are ready for her initiation it is because you have come to her oath of Divine Spirit and her touch is the only one you will ever desire again. Diveena |
Sean and Kim Fendt's Wedding September 2007 I had the honor of facilitating a most beautiful intimate wedding for Sean and Kimberly Fendt from Colorado. They both have such a connection to the Goddess Isis since their ranch in Colorado is named Isis Ranch but when they came here they become equally touched by the power of Pele. I offer to share their connection with you because I find the only gatherings I participate in anymore are sacred celebratory ones and gatherings such as weddings (which we all can profess as such as these) bring people together that would not necessarily be so. Also the Autumnal season is the joining, the coming together of the light and the dark the male and the female. It is the balance of the world and worlds. In the Tao (which I've been studying here) there is the conception that all the world is a composite of male and female energies. The flow of life, the essence of this force is the Tao when all is in balance. When there is a peace between the female essence and the male, then there is the Tao. I delight in weddings and being able to facilitate them as in Sean's and Kimberly's, well we had such a perfect connection that they trusted me in knowing what they would feel right about. Also I was able to flow and ride with the Tao of the moment for it was all in which I could be and with them as we were all in balance together. That is the beauty that this season can bring us. The flow of energy that is effortless if we are willing and accepting of each other. As most brides and bridegrooms that are ready for such a commitment.... The groom has an understanding of the female/Yin within him for either he has experienced good relationships with women or that he has cared to try and understand this female nature within himself. The Bride has the knowledge and wisdom to stand on her own two feet, she does not come into the joining to be taken care of but to take care of. She can handle her life well on her own but chose him. This is her acceptance to have her male warrior within her. When these two come together there is a mutual honoring and respect for each other and a flow that allows them both to be who they are. and together they fuel each other's power. Libra is the Leader of this season's equilibrium, but the sign of Scorpio is the agent of commitment. Scorpio's flame once ignited will not deter from its path and in times of darkness the light of Sagittarius towards the end of this season shines its ray of truth that we all are searching for along our earth walk. |
